During this program, you will assist the team in developing methods and tools for functionalizing large therapeutic molecules. Review and summarize project-related literature Evaluate and assess the practicality of innovative technology platforms for protein chemistry and engineering Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to support ongoing research initiatives Prepare scientific presentations and reports What We Expect of You We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The highly motivated] individual we seek is a [team player] with these qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Amgen requires that all individuals applying for a grad internship or a co-op assignment at Amgen must meet the following criteria: 18 years or older Graduated with a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university Currently enrolled in an MBA program for an MBA internship OR a Masters program for a Masters internship OR a PharmD program for a PharmD internship OR Ph.D. for a PhD internship from an accredited college or university and completion of the first year of MBA OR Masters OR Pharm D OR Ph.D. program before the internship starts Enrolled in an accredited college or university following the potential internship Must not be employed at the time the internship starts Student must be located in the United States for the duration of the [ internship Preferred Qualifications: Degree Concentration(s) in: Chemistry and Biochemistry) Research experience in protein chemistry with emphasis on enzymatic and chemical modifications Demonstrated experience in protein purification and analytical techniques: including affinity, ion exchange, size exclusion chromatography, electrophoresis, and mass spectroscopy Detail oriented and analytical minded and strong ability to independently analyze data and deliver key results Excellent communication and collaboration skills What You Can Expect of Us As we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for your professional and personal growth and well-being.
