Location: Los Angeles, CA (Los Angeles International Airport)
Shift: 2nd 1:00pm-9:30pmPay: $35.00-$43.00/Hr.Job SummaryWe are
seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Engineer with a valid
California C-20 license to join our team. The ideal candidate will
be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating,
ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in
residential and commercial settings.Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including furnaces,
air conditioners, heat pumps, and refrigeration units
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues using appropriate
tools and equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure
optimal performance and energy efficiency
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical
manuals
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations,
including proper handling of refrigerants
- Provide clear explanations and recommendations to clients
regarding HVAC system operations and maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and
time spent on each job
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry
advancements and best practices
- Respond to emergency calls as needed, including evenings and
weekendsRequirements:
- Valid California C-20 Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating and
Air-Conditioning Contractor license
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HVAC technician
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation,
repair, and maintenance techniques
- Familiarity with local and state building codes and
regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and
work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal preferred)Preferred
Qualifications:
- NATE (North American Technician Excellence) certification
- Experience with energy management systems and smart HVAC
technologies
- Knowledge of green building practices and energy-efficient HVAC
