Job Description Job Description Position Overview Boyd Law APC is a statewide litigation firm that has been open and practicing for over 18 years . We are seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney to support our litigation team in handling active matters under the supervision of experienced Lead Litigation Attorneys. This role is intended for an attorney with foundational civil litigation experience who is looking to further develop litigation skills in a structured, team-based environment. Key Responsibilities Under the supervision of a Lead Litigation Attorney, the Civil Litigation Attorney will: Assist with all stages of civil litigation from case inception through resolution Draft motions, oppositions, replies, memoranda of points and authorities, and supporting declarations Prepare and respond to written discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission Assist with discovery strategy, meet-and-confer efforts, and discovery compliance Conduct legal research and provide written and oral analysis to support case strategy Assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel Maintain accurate time entries and comply with firm litigation and billing standards Qualifications Active member in good standing with the California State Bar Minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience Experience drafting law and motion and discovery Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills Ability to work under supervision while managing assigned responsibilities Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Professional judgment and ability to manage competing deadlines Preferred (Not Required) Experience in California state and/or federal courts Exposure to depositions, hearings, or trial preparation Familiarity with litigation case management software What We Offer Direct supervision and mentorship from experienced litigators Substantive litigation work and skill development Team-oriented, professional work environment Competitive compensation commensurate with experience Health benefits, paid time off, and professional development opportunities Equal Opportunity Employer Boyd Law APC is an equal opportunity employer.
