Clinical Lab Scientist - Night Shift Location Mission Viejo, CA Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift from 04:00 PM to 12:30 AM on weekdays, 06:00 AM to 02:30 PM on weekends. May require additional weekend shifts to meet department needs. Job Description The Clinical Lab Scientist will work in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting with a focus on blood bank operations and will require strong expertise in hematology and chemistry. Due to the hospital's trauma designation, candidates will frequently manage massive transfusions. Responsibilities Perform laboratory tests and analyses in blood banking, hematology, and chemistry. Float between locations as needed to provide coverage and assistance. Handle and resolve transfusion reactions and workup. Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of clinical laboratory experience, particularly in blood bank.
