Job Description Equity Staffing Group is currently staffing a Director of Pharmacy for on-site work in Norwalk, CA and Gardena, CA. This is contract work with a Fortune 100 organization. Position : Director of Pharmacist - Interim Director Location : Norwalk CA 90650 and Gardena CA 90247 Duration: 3 Month contract to start, potential for extension or conversion to FTE Rate : Open Start Date : ASAP Description: What skills are required : 5 years of hospital management experience California Pharmacist License Required Dates of Coverage needed: Start ASAP, by Feb. 2nd if possible – 13 week assignment with possibility of extension Coverage Hours needed : 40 hours/week, regular 8-5 shift Is weekend coverage needed?: No Will this person need to take on-call? No Order Entry System: Paragon Site Automation: Pyxis Job Responsibilities: Pharmacy leadership, attend and lead meetings (med safety, P&T) attendance at leadership huddles, manage staff, time keeping (all staff are CPS employees) Expectations: Interim Director of Pharmacy role (includes management, leadership, communication), oversee sterile compounding competency process. This DOP position covers both hospitals, current DOP typically spends MWF at Gardena and T/Thu at Gardena. This assignment is to backfill the outgoing DOP. Min Education: Bachelor or Doctorate
