Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: Ongoing - Up to 12.00 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Per Diem About the Role:/n/n We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a per diem basis. This role requires strong clinical judgment, rapid decision-making, and the ability to manage high-acuity patients in a fast-paced emergency setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in triage, emergency interventions, and stabilization of critically ill or injured patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. /n/nKey Responsibilities:/n/n /n/t - Assess, monitor, and collect patient history and symptoms, coordinating with providers to develop patient care plans /n/t - Organize and prioritize patient care in the emergency department, following protocols and treatment guidelines /n/t - Administer medications and treatments with accuracy and clinical knowledge /n/t - Perform and assist with emergency interventions, procedures, and stabilization techniques /n/t - Maintain and perform daily checks on emergency equipment, including monitors, crash carts, and oxygen cylinders /n/t - Ensure compliance with Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) standards and facility policies /n/t - Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care /n/t - Collaborate with EMS, medical staff, and fellow nurses to ensure timely and effective patient care /n /n/nQualifications:/n/n /n/t - Active RN License in CA (Required) /n/t - BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certifications (Required) /n/t - TNCC Certification (Preferred) /n/t - Minimum 1-2 years of recent Emergency Department experience (Required) /n/t - Strong ability to work under pressure, assess rapidly changing conditions, and perform life-saving interventions /n/t - Experience using EPIC or other EMR systems (Preferred) /n Sable Corporation Job ID 2025-52.
