Job Description:

Configuration Manager needed for a dynamic engineering team who is looking to disrupt the aviation industry.This is a direct placement opportunity in Long Beach, CA.The ideal candidate will have experience managing and maintaining Configuration Management tools and processes.As a Configuration Manager you will:

• Develop Configuration Management (CM) Plans and Processes in accordance with industry standards such as SAE ARP4754A
• Coordinate with cross functional groups to execute and optimize CM processes.
• Support integration of CM processes into the PLM tool (Teamcenter)
• Maintain CM Plans and Procedures
• Define Configuration Items (CI), both hardware and software
• Manage CIs and support standardization of engineering documentation and data.
• Manage PRs (Problem Reports) and ECRs (Engineering Change Requests).
• Coordinate and prepare materials for CCB (Change Control Board) meetings.
• Document and store CCB outcomes and decisions.
• Support transfer of engineering data to manufacturing and ERP systems
• Manage digital storage of historical configuration data.The ideal candidate will have:Experience managing and maintaining Configuration Management tools and processes.Familiarity with:
  • 14 CFR Part 25 Regulations
  • SAE ARP4754A
  • Teamcenter Configuration Management
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a technical degree from an accredited university.
  • 5-10 years' experience in Configuration Management in the Aerospace Industry.
