talented, Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) Engineer with Magnetron
Sputter tool experience to join our 3D Integration and Imaging
Sensors group - a world leader in Advanced Packaging and Materials
Research and Development. This is an opportunity to contribute to a

to grow your career. What You Will Do: Supporting fabrication
operations by providing technical expertise in PVD processes for
the 200mm product line Magnetron Sputter deposition techniques
Experience with metal and dielectric thin films Taking ownership
and responsibility for maintaining/optimizing all Deposition tools
(4 tools and growth) New Tool/Process Development by researching
new suppliers/technologies for improving production, quality, and
throughput – drive selection / install / qualification of
deposition platforms Maintaining current processes, optimizing
existing processes, and training in safe / efficient operations of
the deposition process cell Maintain statistical process controls
process optimization; troubleshoot and resolve issues supporting
the manufacturing process and improve process yields In-Fab
Collaboration required by working with a team of technicians and
engineers in an ISO-Class 5 wafer fabrication clean room Work with
R&D teams to develop creative solutions / approaches for new
devices designs and advanced packaging architectures Qualifications
You Must Have: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology,
Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior
relevant experience Experience in thin film deposition techniques
and/or Magnetron sputtering Qualifications We Prefer: Experience
with sustaining existing deposition processes to meet product
specifications & manufacturing process flows, maintaining operating
instructions for process and equipment Deep knowledge of vacuum
systems including trouble shooting Demonstrated ability of solving
technical problems, project ownership, meeting deadlines, and
multitasking Thorough sense of process / tool ownership, drive, and
dedication to continuous improvement Experience showing ability to
work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to improve
processes Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including
technical writing for summarizing data and findings, writing
process and equipment specifications and work instructions

remote. The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500
USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate
representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as
