Job Description Job Description Assembler Job Description Perform repetitive assembly operations to mass-produce commercial aircraft interior components, specifically focusing on premium class furniture for commercial aircraft. Work within the constraints of the master production schedule to meet customer requirements. Essential Skills At least 1 year of assembly or production experience. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools. Available Shift Schedules: 1st shift: 6am-2:30pm 2nd shift; 3:30pm12:00am Must be flexible to work a lot of Over-time. They are working 9-10 hours/day Monday-Friday *Must be comfortable working with hand and power tools *Seeking candidates who want a long-term career *$17 - $17.50 Responsibilities Follow installation procedures per blueprint and engineering drawings. Mix and apply adhesives according to manufacturer specifications. Apply silicone sealant as required. Place parts in specified relationships to each other. Verify unit dimensions before installing inserts, rivets, blind nuts, blocks, angles, doublers, and fittings. Bond, screw, rivet, or otherwise attach parts together. Drill, countersink, and rivet metal or sheet metal parts as required. Install attachment fittings as assigned. Prepare and organize tools and parts for use in the manufacturing area. Requisition parts as needed from the stockroom. Ensure work orders and traceability books are maintained and completed throughout the manufacturing cycle. Maintain safe and effective use of all machine and hand tools, as well as a safe work environment. Report any defects to quality assurance and manufacturing engineers. Promote cooperation and positive communication with co-workers. Pick up and remove scrap from work areas. Clean work area, machines, tools, and equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in maintaining safe work practices in a manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in assembly processes. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seal Beach, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50/hr.
