An educational support program is seeking a Substitute Paraprofessional to provide temporary assistance in classrooms. The position focuses on academic and behavioral support for students and maintaining classroom routines. Responsibilities / Duties: Provide classroom support under the guidance of teachers or specialists Assist students individually or in small groups with learning and behavior goals Monitor student progress and document observations Support transitions, routines, and structured learning activities Maintain confidentiality and comply with school safety policies Complete fingerprinting and background checks prior to assignment Qualifications / Desired Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred Prior experience in educational or childcare settings preferred Strong communication, patience, and adaptability Reliable, professional, and flexible for substitute assignments Willingness to complete fingerprinting and background requirements Qualified applicants should submit a rsum with fingerprinting readiness and availability. Hours are not guaranteed and shifts will be offered on an as-needed basis according to school needs. Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $48.52.
